How do I use Virtual AccessPad (VAP) ?

A: The initial activation of Virtual Access Pad will have to start with a lock upgrade on the AX5 Controller or AP3 Padlock (see How to Upgrade a lock) 

Thereafter, you will follow the detailed steps below

1. Select the lock you need to open/upgrade
2. Select "Unlock" then select the Menu icon (3 dots in the top right corner). In the menu drop down, select "Upgrade Lock"
3. Select "Start Upgrade" in the Lock Upgrade popup
4. Let the lock complete its upgrade until it says dismiss. Once complete, secure the lock by closing it
5. Exit the lock interface and go back to the Lock tab (Back button>Lock icon). Click the Menu icon of the lock you need to open using VAP, select "AccessPad"
6. Ensure that you have woken the padlock up by pressing the padlock button the enter your code on the App
7. Select "Authorize"
8. Wait for the authorization to be complete
9. Once the authorization is complete, you will be able to select "Unlock" for the lock to open.
