A: Virtual Access Pad (VAP) makes it a lot easier to enter Failsafe Unlock codes to enter sites without a digital key. This method is much easier on the user than our traditional method with a button. Sometimes the button on Sera4 access points is not visible or accessible. This site has a hasp design that makes Failsafe Unlock impractical.
To maintain security, VAP has the same cooldown periods between successive attempts as the traditional button method.
