A: Sera4 has launched the SLC2 Controller, which is a self powered controller that uses AA batteries and has the option to plug in a type C USB or any 6-12v source (see SLC2 Datasheet for additional information) . The lock has all the real-time audit and control capabilities as the AX5 Controller and AP3 Padlock such as bank-grade digital security, a robust audit trail, granting access in real time, Failsafe Unlock and unlocking with or without data coverage.
The SLC2 seamlessly integrate with existing outdoor shelters, cabinets and equipment enclosures. The one cable easy install allows for the controller to easily be connected to any electronic lock as seen below;
