How to enroll a new device when device restriction is enabled

More often than not, users get new devices, should organizations have Device Restriction enabled, its best practice for users to report their new device to the organization and for that new device to be enrolled on the Teleporte portal. The procedure remains the same for enabling Device Restriction, however, to enroll a new device the below steps would need to be followed:

1.  Search for the user on the Teleporte Portal

2. Select the user and click on the EDIT icon 

3. The Device Restriction checkbox should be ticked, uncheck the Device Restriction checkbox and click SAVE to save the changes. This will disable Device Restriction for this user. 

4. Allow the user to sign into their new device

5. Once they have successfully signed into their new device, sign into the Teleporte Portal and repeat steps 1 and 2. Select the Device Restriction checkbox, click SAVE to save the changes 

6. Make sure the checkbox is ticked before saving changes, this will ensure Device Restriction stays enabled
